In 1864 Lt. General U.S. Grant commanded over 500,000 soldiers. Despite being the General in Chief of the most powerful army in the world, Grant lived a spartan lifestyle while in the field. See a reproduction of his headquarters tent containing personal items he carried with him while in the field. Jack will be present with full accouterments.
